Who I Am
I’m a costume designer and illustrator focused on character-driven storytelling for theatre, dance, and film. My work centers on using clothing as a narrative tool — revealing psychology, relationships, and transformation through silhouette, texture, color, and detail.
I approach design as both an artist and a maker. I’m deeply interested in process: research, sketching, patterning, fitting, revising, and building. Whether I’m designing for the stage or creating miniature couture for fashion dolls, I bring the same care to construction, proportion, and storytelling.
Collaboration is at the heart of my practice. I value open, curious conversations with directors, designers, and performers, and I’m most energized by projects that invite exploration, emotional nuance, and a strong visual point of view.
Outside of the studio, I’m fueled by good coffee, long walks, pop culture, vintage ephemera, and the occasional deep dive into costume history. These small pleasures inform the way I see the world — and, inevitably, the way I design.
I currently live and work in Seattle, usually with a sketchbook nearby and a to-do list that’s a little too ambitious.
